Inuyasha FAQ

Question:I see manga and anime? Whats the difference? I'm so confused...

Answer:

  • There's a lot of differences. Like there's things in the manga that aren't in the anime or are totally different. Like Kikyou, she's not an evilin the manga as she is in the anime, just really weird. And there are things in the anime that aren't in the manga. Like Souten, the sister of the Thunder Bros. is not in the manga.

  • manga = inuyasha comic book in Japan. anime = the manga turned into cartoon. There are many differences between them. Some events are in the manga but not in the anime, and vice versa.

  • Manga is the original form the series was in. It's basically a black-and-white comic book, only it comes in the size and shape of a novel. Anime = animated cartoon version (what you see on TV). It is based on the characters and plot from the manga. If you don't know what manga is, you probably haven't seen it. You can find it in its own special section in most book/game/comic stores.
