Inuyasha FAQ

Question:If InuYasha becomes a full fledged demon will he still be able to wield the Tetsusaiga? Why Does he need to become a full fledged demon, hes already as strong as his father.

Answer:

  • Probably not, the Tetsaiga is there to keep him from becoming a deomon, and can only be weilded by a half-demon. His own brother cant weild it with out putting a human arm on him remember?

  • if he becomes a full demon he wont be able to wield it without a painful burning sensation. he isn't near as strong as his father or brother originally, but after mastering the much heavier sword he does surpass his father's strength.

  • If Inuyasha touched the Tetsusaiga as a full demon, he would just change back to a hanyou. But if you mean if he consumed the shikon no tama that's different. Only if he has the will to save a human he can sort of hold it, but he would still get burned, just not as severely. Read the ep summary 134 and find out what happens to Sesshoumaru when he tries to touch the Tetsusaiga.
