Question:What does "Naraku" mean in Japanese?Does it mean hatred,and evil?Or does it mean something else?

  • It actually means 'Hell' if you're translating it all as one word, but if you separate it, aku means evil, and I think 'nar' is short for some word that means complete.

  • Well let's take acloser look: "Naraku" as one word means "Hell". But for another definition, we'll have to break it down. "Nar" means "compleate" and "aku" means "evil". So it either means "Hell" or "Compleate evil".
