- Since most of "Inuyasha" takes place in Feudal Era Japan, it would not make sense for them to celebrate Christmas or Valentine's Day. Christmas is a Christian-based holiday and would not have been celebrated in Japan in that time period. Valentine's Day is another western holiday that would not have been celebrated in Feudal Japan.
But to answer your question, no, they have not celebrated any of those holidays in the series and that is likely why.
