Inuyasha Movie 1 - Love that Transcends Time
Version III contributed by Renea Dell renea_dell@yahoo.com:
Inuyasha's dad had sealed away an evil Chinese demon 200 years ago named Menomaru
except now he has escaped thanks to a jewel shard. Inuyasha and his companions
go after him due to the time-imfractions Menomaru is causing. Basically, he is
sucking all the power from the feudal Japan error and it is also affecting
other time periods, including Kagome's! In a quote from Kagome's grandpa,
"Snow Stop Falling."
Kagome-Inuyasha Side of Story:
Menomaru uses a jewel shard to take over Kagome and force her to fight
Inuyasha, injuring him pretty badly. We see shadowing back from when Kikyo
nailed him to a tree with an arrow. Needless to say, causing Inuyasha pain
snaps her out of the imprisonment and she heads for home in tears. After a
while at home and a little history from her mother, Kagome walks to the "God
Tree" and starts communicating with Inuyasha who is still injured on the other
end. Thanks to his pep talk Kagome heads back to the other world.
Miroku and Sango side of Story:
Menomaru's minions Hari and Ruri gain extra powers from Miroku and Sango,
namely a Wind Tunnel and Kiara. They force Kiara to fight against Sango until
Sango is injured by Kiara. Kiara starts smashing her head against a rock to
get rid of the jewel shard placed there. She is freed once again. Miroku
fights the other one off Wind Tunnel for Wind Tunnel until the villain is
sucked in by her own force. There ends the torment of the minions.
